Authors who publish in Carta Económica Regional accept the following conditions:

In accordance with copyright legislation, Carta Economica Regional recognizes and respects the moral right of the authors, as well as the ownership of the patrimonial right, which will be transferred on a non-exclusive basis to Carta Económica Regional of the University of Guadalajara for its dissemination in open access(Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License.).

Authors may enter into additional, independent contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the version of the article published in Carta Económica Regional (for example, including it in an institutional repository) provided that it is clearly and explicitly indicated that the work was first published in Carta Económica Regional.

Carta Económica Regional carries out the editorial process through the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform, and does NOT charge authors for the submission or processing of manuscripts. Once the article is accepted for publication, the authors must submit the Letter of Assignment of Rights duly completed and signed by the authors.

Readers/users of Carta Económica Regional can directly access the content freely and free of charge when a new issue is posted on the OJS platform. The reader/user is allowed to cite, share (electronically and physically), read, copy, download, search, print and distribute the material provided that it is clearly and explicitly indicated that the work was first published in Carta Económica Regional. The work must be cited correctly and must not be used for commercial purposes.
