Formación de grietas, hundimientos y repercusiones sociales en el poblado de Ameca, Jalisco
Abstract
Desde hace más de dos décadas, en la población de Ameca se han venido presentando una serie de hundimientos, mismos que se han agravado en los años más recientes. A partir de la detección de viviendas agrietadas, se ha identificado que existe un patrón de daños; es decir, los hundimientos definen trazas rectas en la superficie, con direcciones similares a las fallas regionales. El sistema de fallas corta diagonalmente la zona urbana de Ameca. Al realizar un inventario de viviendas dañadas, se ha encontrado que son más de 1 000, particularmente 50 de ellas tienen serios daños estructurales. El origen de los hundimientos diferenciales se asocia con la reactivación de sistemas de fallas y fracturas producto del fenómeno de extracción de agua del subsuelo, lo que produce hidrocompactación. Los hundimientos más importantes se asocian con la falla principal, el crecimiento de las grietas está siguiendo una tendencia en sentido NO-SE, por lo que siguen aumentando nuevas viviendas dañadas.Those authors who have publications with this magazine accept the following terms:
