Abstract
Esta islas, ubicadas en el Mediterráneo occidental, muy bien situadas con respecto a la Europa más desarrollada y con un clima y paisaje natural muy atractivos, han conocido una verdadera revolución a partir de los años sesenta del siglo XX cuando se produjo en ellas la eclosión del llamado turismo de masas cuyas consecuencias, tanto positivas como negativas, han sido incalculables y heterogéneas y han afectado a toda la organización social y económica de las islas, dando lugar a cambios culturales y éticos así como también a graves alteraciones del medio ambienteThose authors who have publications with this magazine accept the following terms:
