MIGRACIÓN INTERNACIONAL Y DESARROLLO REGIONAL EN MÉXICO
Abstract
Este trabajo tiene como objetivo identificar los impactos económicos provocados por la migración internacional en las ocho grandes regiones propuestas por Ángel Bassols para la división económica regional de México. En este estudio se intenta calcular el impacto cuantitativo de las remesas en el contexto de las economías estatales y regionales. Para ello se utilizan tres variables fundamentales: el monto de las remesas enviadas por los trabajadores mexicanos en Estados Unidos a su país de origen; el producto interno bruto total y el producto interno bruto del sector agropecuario a nivel entidad federativa, y la estructura porcentual por entidad federativa de los trabajadores indocumentados que regresan de Estados Unidos.References
