ESTRATEGIAS DE LAS MULTINACIONALES EN AMÉRICA LATINA: INDUSTRIA AGROALIMENTARIA (1988-1996)
Abstract
La globalización de la actividad de los grupos de la industria agroalimentaria mundial se ha acelerado a partir de los años ochenta. Varios factores explican el aumento espectacular de las operaciones de reestructuración en el extranjero: 1) Por un lado, la existencia de un retraso acumulado por algunos países, en los procesos de internacionalización de sus actividades, en comparación con las empresas de los grandes países desarrollados. 2) La política de liberalización, en plena expansión a nivel mundial, ha engendrado un clima favorable a la puesta en marcha de estas operaciones. 3) Por otro lado, el fuerte posicionamiento de los grupos en el mercado americano, considerado como el más importante del mundo, ha sido a menudo un eje estratégico esencial.References
