LA PEQUEÑA EMPRESA EN LA INDUSTRIA MUEBLERA DE JALISCO: EL CASO DE INDUSTRIAS TANDA
Abstract
En México las empresas clasificadas como pequeñas son aquellas que cuentan con 16 a 100 trabajadores y el valor de sus ventas anuales, reales o estimadas, no rebasa los 1115 salarios mínimos anuales; éstas son las principales variables que se toman en cuenta para su clasificación. No obstante, es obvio que cada sector económico tiene sus especificidades, por lo que restringir este concepto a sólo un indicador puede conducir a falsear la realidad. Si bien ello es necesario para fines estadísticos, la realidad muestra la complejidad que encierra su dinámica y acción, ya sea para estudiar a la pequeña empresa o para manejarla operativamente.Aunque el concepto mismo de pequeña empresa muchas veces conduzca a minimizar su importancia y se vea su trascendencia sólo como un segmento que predomina cada vez más en la industria manufacturera, las variables que la definen y determinan son mucho más interesantes y complejas de lo que en ocasiones suele pensarse. El caso de Industrias Tanda es característico del desempeño que tienen las pequeñas empresas dentro de los sectores tradicionales de la economía mexicana.Those authors who have publications with this magazine accept the following terms:
