Abstract

La crisis económica de la década de los ochentas se ha reflejado también en una fuerte caída de la pro­ducción pecuaria de Jalisco, no obstante ser tino de los principales productores del país. Esta entidad, además de satisfacer la demanda interna, abastece al mercado nacional, por lo cual, la disminución en sus volúmenes de producción resulta cada vez de mayor gravedad y de consecuencias negativas para la eco­nomía nacional.
