PERSPECTIVAS DE GENERACIÓN DE EMPLEO EN LAS MAQUILADORAS NO FRONTERIZAS. EL CASO DE JALISCO
Abstract
Un aspecto positivo do la industria maquiladora de exportación es que da empleo a cerca de 450 mil trabajadores. Si a ello se agrega el empleo indirecto que genera, se estima que esta industria contribuye a que aproximadamente cuatro millones de personas obtengan ingresos. Sin embargo, los reducidos salarios, los bajos estándares en las condiciones de trabajo y la poca integración con la economía local, son aspectos que todavía cuestionan la contribución de las maquiladoras al desarrollo nacional.References
