PERSPECTIVAS ECONÓMICAS PARA 1997

Abstract

Si las metas económicas establecidas por las autoridades hacendarías para 1997 se cumplen, el producto interno bruto por habitante (PEB) en 1997 será 4.9 por ciento inferior al de 1994, la inversión fija bruta será 13.6 por ciento menor y el salario mínimo será 21.5 por ciento inferior.Durante los cincuenta años prece­dentes al modelo neoliberal, el PIB por habitante creció en cada sexenio desde 18.3 hasta 22.6 por ciento; la inversión fija bruta aumentó, en pro­medio, 63.3 por ciento en cada sexe­nio; y los salarios mínimos crecieron 19.4 por ciento cada sexenio, en pro­medio. Después de catorce años de experimentación neoliberal, supo­niendo que el programa económico para 1997 funcione, el PIB per cápita será 9.5 por ciento inferior al de 1982, la inversión fija bruta será 16.97 por ciento inferior a la de 1981 y los sa­larios mínimos 72 por ciento meno­res que en 1982.
