Abstract

En economía, lo mismo que en otros ámbitos del mundo objetivo, es po­sible arribar a la misma meta por ca­minos distintos más cortos o largos, más llanos o intrincados, más seguros o riesgosos, pero también es factible extraviarse por caminos que no con­ducen al fin propuesto. Por eso, en política económica lo que cuenta es la elección con conocimiento de cau­sa del camino más certero.El Programa Nacional de Financiamiento del Desarrollo (Pronafide) propone definir las estrategias que aseguren los recursos de inversión productiva para que México pueda acceder al crecimiento económico sostenido con tasas anuales de 4.5 por ciento en 1997 hasta 5.6 por ciento en el año 2000, generando 877.2 miles de empleos formales en 1997 hasta alcanzar la generación anual de 1249.3 miles de ellos en el año 2000.
