EVOLUCIÓN DE LA APERTURA COMERCIAL E IMPLICACIONES DEL ACUERDO DE LIBRE COMERCIO DE AMÉRICA DEL NORTE EN EL SECTOR AGROPECUARIO
Abstract
Desde mediados de la década de los ochenta el campo mexicano, al igual que los sectores externo e industrial, se ha visto envuelto en un amplio programa de modernización estructural. Desde el inicio de la administración de Miguel de la Madrid se instrumentó en el país un nuevo modelo de desarrollo agrícola, orientado fundamentalmente al sector externo, el cual se consolidó económica, política y jurídicamente bajo la administración del presidente Salinas.Dicho modelo se ha sustentado desde sus inicios en esquemas liberalistas. Como parte de la política de liberalización comercial, en el sector agropecuario se han eliminado los permisos de importación para diferentes grupos de productos agrícolas, los cuales pasaron de una cobertura superior a 50 por ciento en 1985 a otra de alrededor de 20 por ciento en 1990.Those authors who have publications with this magazine accept the following terms:
